The nose offers power and a small intensity. It reveals notes of very ripe strawberry, very ripe blackberry, small notes of timut pepper/grey pepper, violet as well as hints of liquorice, toasted/sweet spices and a very discreet hint of underwood/tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a small freshness and gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy blackberry, small notes of flehsy cassis associated with small touches of cherry, violet as well as hints of caramelization and underwood. Tannins are finely dry. Good length.
