Antica Casa Vinicola Scarpa – Tettineive 2017 – Barbaresco

The nose is aromatic and offers deepness and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of raspberry strawberry, small notes of lilac associated with fine touches of cornflower, blueberry as well as subtle hints of sense of the place and a discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry, fleshy/juicy cassis, small notes of violet associated with fine touches of cherry, sense of the place as well as a hint of tonka bean. Tannins are elegant and structuring.
