The nose is elegant and offers a fine grain and power. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis, small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of ripe blueberry, nutmeg, tobacco as well as very fine hints of cherry, Sichuan pepper and a very discreet hint of underwood. The plate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild cassis, ripe wild blackberry and small notes of chocolate, liquorice associated with touches of fleshy/fresh strawberry, a fine touch of blueberry as well as hints of toasted, toasted almond and nutmeg. Tannins are elegant.
