The nose offers power, a beautiful finesse of the grain and freshness. It reveals notes of blackberry, small wild berries, small notes of iris associated with touches of cornflower, Cuben pepper, nutmeg as well as hints of camphor, tea, varietal, liquorice and very discreet hints of sweet spices (ginger, clove, nutmeg and pepper). The palate is racy, well-balanced and offers tension, freshness, gourmandize, a fine grain as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cornflower, lily and small notes of crunchy cassis associated with a touch of raspberry, varietal as well as hints of chocolate, liquorice and very discreet hints of tobacco. Tannins are elegant. A very discreet hint of dry almond on the persistence.
