The nose is elegant, powerful, aromatic and offers finesse. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with fine touches of small fruits, fleshy cherry as well as very discreet hints of tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral and offers a good definition, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy/fresh blackberry, fleshy/ripe bigarreau cherry, small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with fine touches of small crunchy fruits as well as hints of cornflower, lilac and tea. A very discreet hint of chocolate on the finish/persistence.
