Curto – LaFoia 2016 – Barolo

The nose is fruity and offers a very fine concentration, a fine grain, crunchiness and freshness. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, juicy/ripe red berries, small notes of juicy red berries associated with fine touches of blackberry, very fine hints of violet, lily as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of toasted hazelnut (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/Finely acidulous frame, a good definition and gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy strawberry, juicy raspberry, small notes of small red berries associated with fine touches of juicy cherry, ripe blackberry as well as fine hints of nutmeg, almond and very discreet hints of tonka bean. Tannins are precise, elegant and structuring.
