The nose is slightly tight. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of iris associated with fine hints of bud/varietal as well as a hint of raspberry, rose and fine hints of cocoa. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fine mineral frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy black cherry, cassis and small notes of violet associated with a touch of small black fruits as well as fine hints of blackcurrant bud, chocolate and caramelization.
