Istine, Le Vigne 2016 – Chianti Classico Riserva

The nose is fruity, delicious and offers elegance, generosity and fine intensity. It reveals notes of fleshy raspberry, violet / lily and small notes of Boysenberry associated with small touches of cassis, Timut pepper as well as fine hints of nutmeg and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / finely acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize, freshness, dynamism as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, fleshy / juicy raspberry and small notes of Boysenberry, small fleshy / juicy red berries associated with fine touches of flowers, a subtle hint of sense of place. / arbutus as well as very discreet toasted and nutmeg hints. Good length. Presence of very discreet / imperceptible hints of tonka bean on the finish / persistence.
