Vigneti La Selvanella 2015 – Chianti Classico Riserva

The nose offers a small power as well as a fine intensity. The wine needs to be put in a carafe. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of crunchy blueberry associated with a touch of crunchy raspberry as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, suavity, a fine delicacy as well as a beautiful fleshy / juicy / ripe fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy blueberry, fleshy blackberry / juicy and small notes of strawberry / juicy red berries associated with fine touches of violet, cornflower, a hint of black olive as well as fine nutmeg, sweet spices and a very fine hint of mocha (in the background).
