Fattoria di Corsignano 2013 – Chianti Classico Gran Selezione

The nose is aromatic, elegant, fruity, spicy and offers a fine richness as well as a very fine concentration. It reveals there notes of Boysenberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of blue berries, hints of caramelization, tonka bean, nutmeg as well as very discreet hints of vanilla and black olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, good definition, a small indulgence, a small richness, a fine freshness, minerality and a fine tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy black cherry, fleshy / juicy strawberry and small notes of fleshy / juicy blueberry, violet associated with fine hints of liquorice, caramelization, discrete hints of camphor as well as with a subtle hint of tobacco and black olive. Good length. Presence of fine cocoa hints on the persistence.
