It reveals notes of ripe cassis and small black fruits associated with a touch of wild raspberry, hints of local grove / sense of place as well as a very discreet hint of spices and cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a juicy / finely acidulous frame, freshness, concentration as well as a fleshy / juicy / gourmand fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy raspberry and small notes of fleshy morello cherry associated with fine touches of Boysenberry, a hint of violet, sense of place and very discreet hints of chocolate / sweet spices. Tannins are well-built and elegant. Presence of a very discreet hint of cocoa and an imperceptibility of salinity on the persistence.
