Alpha Omega – Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard – St. Helena, Napa Valley

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a beautiful intensity and power. It reveals notes of ripe/fresh cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of griotte associated with fine touches of small ripe black berries as well as hints of liquorice and grey pepper. The mouth is fresh, fruity, mineral and offers juiciness, a fine intensity, a fine acidulous frame as well as freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of raspberry, crushed Boysen berry associated with fine touches of liquorice, tonka bean and pepper. Tannins are elegant. A very discreet hint of cardamom on the persistence.
