AXR – Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Sleeping Lady Vineyard – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a fine concentration and intensity. It reveals notes of black cherry, cassis and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with small touches of violet, liquorice stick as well as fine hints of Sichuan pepper, grey pepper and dark chocolate. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize and a good structure as well as a sens of the place. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry cassis and small notes of small black berries associated with touches of fleshy raspberry as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, crushed redcurrant and chocolate. Tannins are well-built.
