The nose is fruity and offers a fine grain and power. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small berries and small notes of liquorice associated with touches of cornflower, Sichuan pepper, raspberry as well as very discreet hints of black cherry. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous/juicy frame, tension, a beautiful precision as well as gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with fine touches of small blue fruits as well as fine hints of tonka bean, nutmeg, vanilla and toasted almond. Good length and persistence on chocolate notes. Tannins are elegant.
