Conn Creek – Anthology 2015, Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers power and a good definition. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of wild strawberry, small wild blue fruits as well as fine hints of mild tobacco, cardamom and a discreet hint of dry forest ground. The mouth is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize as well as fine richness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of small red fruits, cornflower, a subtle hint of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of cardamom. Tannins are well-built and elegant.
