The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers concentration as well as finesse/elegance. It reveals notes of fleshy black plum, crushed cassis and small notes of small wild black berries associated with a touch of liquorice as well as a discreet hint of camphor, nutmeg/sweet spices and blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, minerality as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crushed/fleshy blackberry, small notes of violet associated with fine touches of crushed blueberry as well as a subtle hint of small ripe red berries, liquorice, cornflower and a subtle hint of mild tobacco. Tannins are very finely marked.
