The nose is fruity and offers a fine grain, power as well as a very fine straightness. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, ripe raspberry and small notes of wild small black fruits associated with fine touches of crushed strawberry, green pepper as well as hints of graphite, chocolate and very discreet hint of nutmeg. In mouth this wine is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, a fine tension as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, juicy/acidulous raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of acidulous red berries, hints of vanilla, small juicy fruit as well as fine hints of caramelization, vanilla and toasted. Tannins are precise, elegant and structuring. A good persistence with notes of roasted/grilled.
