Canicatti – Diodoros 2016 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is fresh, fruity, elegant and offers a good definition, gourmandize, finesse as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blueberry and small notes of ripe wild raspberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, blackberry, cardamom, very discreet hints of black olive as well as a very discreet hint of dark chocolate and sense of the place. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, suavity, a good definition, elegance, finesse, precision as well as a beautiful finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, ripe/fleshy cassis and small notes of ripe/fleshy raspberry associated with fine touches of ripe/fleshy blueberry, fine hints of zan, sugared mild tobacco as well as a very discreet hint of hot black olive, a subtle hint of toasted/caramelization and an imperceptible hint of sense of the place.
