The nose offers power and a fine and tight grain. It reveals notes of gray pepper and fine hints of smoke associated with a subtle hint of blackberry and fleshy strawberry (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy/ripe black cherry and small notes of small red fruits associated with fine touches of violet as well as subtle hints of mild tobacco. A very fine saline hint on the finish/persistence.
