The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a small power as well as intensity. It reveals notes of ripe red cherry, ripe cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of violet, a very discreet hint of sage. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and well-defined. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy cherry and small notes of fleshy/juicy wild raspberry associated with a touch of acidulous candy, small red berries as well as fine hints of small local flowers, olivier and a subtle hint of pink laurel. Tannins are structuring. Good length. A very discreet hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
