Tenute Rapitalà – Hugonis 2016 – IGT Terre Siciliane

The nose is fruity, ripe and offers a fine creaminess. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, black plum and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with fine touches of crushed cassis as well as very fine hints of caramelization (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of rapsberry, ripe wild strawberry and small notes of ripe cassis associated with fine touches of chocolate/toasted. Good length. A very discreet hint of crushed almond on the persistence (brings a fine chew).
