The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers richness, fat, a small freshness, tension, juiciness, a juicy/mineral frame as well as a small power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe strawberry, fleshy/ripe raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of fleshy/ripe cherry, hints of underwood, meat/smoke as well as very fine hints of tonka bean, toasted almond and discreet hints of spices (in the background). Tannins are well-built and structuring.
