Château Bourdieu 2018 – Blayes Côte de Bordeaux

The nose is elegant, fruity, racy and offers a fine intensity/concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of flowers associated with small touches of ripe red berries as well as very fine varietal hints, a subtle hint of Cuben pepper and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, ripe/juicy cherry and small notes of juicy plum associated with fine touches of raspberry as well as hints of violet, varietal as well as very discreet hints of chocolate, liquorice and a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background).
