The nose is fruity and offers elegance as well as a small power/concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of ripe strawberry associated with small touches of bulb, liquorice as well as discreet hints of spices and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers a good definition, juiciness, an acidulous frame, a small richness, tension, a small freshness, a small mienrality as well as a small concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of candied raspberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, toasted oak/grilled as well as a hint of cocoa,toasted and very fine hints of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are elegant.
