Château Lynch-Bages 2018 – Pauillac

The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a beutiful power in finesse, precision, a fine grain as well as a racy minerality. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, small fleshy black fruits and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of toasted oak/caramelized as well as fine hints of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, tension, a good definition, a fine aerial side, power, structure, a beautiful richness, a beautiful finesse, juiciness as well as density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with fine touches of juicy/fresh small red berries, juicy/crunchy cherry as discreet hints of tonka bean, cardamom, tea and a discreet hint of nutmeg. Tannins are beautifully built, powerful and elegant. Good length.
