Château Pabus 2018 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity and offers a small power, concentration, a fine intensity, a fine freshness as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe cassis and crushed/ripe blackberry associated with small touches of crunchy strawberry, liquorice, a discreet hint of black cherry as well as fine hints of violet, tea, very discreet hints of spices and a subtle hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, concentrated and offers gourmandize, an acidulous frame, tension, freshness, a small juiciness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, liquorice and small notes of crushed blackberry associated with touches of ripe strawberry, violette as well as very discreet hints of tea, caramelization and chocolate.
