The nose is fruity and offers freshness, elegance as well as concentration. It reveals notes of ripe/fleshy cassis, ripe/fleshy strawberry and small notes of blackberry, liquorice stick, small juicy berries associated with hints of fresh flowers (cornflower, iris), fine hints of Sichuan pepper as well as very discreet hints of toasted and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, precise, racy and offers a small creaminess, gourmandize, a mineral frame, power as well as a small richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/fresh strawberry and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of tonkabean, caramelization as well as fine hints of toasted and a discreet hint of coffee on the finish/persistence. Tannins are elegant and finely firm. Fine chew on the finish.
