The nose is elegant, racy and offers a small concentration / richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and ripe strawberry combined with fine touches of liquorice stick as well as discreet hints of flowers, toasted oak and toasted bread. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a good definition, gourmandise, a beautiful mineral frame (racy minerality), richness, finesse, tension as well as a fine grain. In mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of ripe/crunchy strawberries associated with small toasted touches, tonka bean, caramelization, vanilla, toasted hazelnut and a hint of bitter cocoa (on the finish) A beautiful wine (+10 / 12 years minimum).
