The nose is fruity, fresh, lively, gourmand and offers minerality as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe cassis and small notes of red fruits combined with a slight touch of blueberry, flowers as well as discreet hints of liquorice and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, fleshiness, juiciness, gourmandise as well as a slight acidulous sensation. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of ripe/juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of tonka bean, licorice, spices as well as slight hints of chocolate and a very discreet hint of sweet blond tobacco (in the background). Tannins are well-built. There is a very slight hint of dried almond on the finish / persistence.
