It reveals notes of ripe/fresh cassis, ripe/fresh blue berries and small notes of red fruits associated with fine touches of violet as well as hints of mentholed liquorice and very discreet hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful gourmandize as well as a ripe/juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses otes of juicy/fleshy blackberry, red berries, ripe/juicy redcurrant and small notes of ripe/crunchy wild strawberry associated with fine touches of flowers, mentholed liquorice, very discreet hints of tonka bean, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of vanilla pod (in the background). Tannins are elegant, structuring and finely firm. There is a hint of cardamom on the persistence.
