Château Hervé Laroque 2018 – Fronsac

The nose is aromatic and offers a small power as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry and fleshy strawberry associated with fine touches of toasted, Bourbon as well as very discreet hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is mineral, fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a small tension, finesse, a good definitio, a fine fleshiness as well dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blueberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of juicy/fresh blueberry associated with fine touches of vanilla, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate (in the background). Tannins are well-built and racy. Fine chew on the finish.
