The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, well-built and offers tension, a good definition, a fine juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, juicy/fleshy cassis and more slightly cornflower/peony associated with fine touches of small wild red fruits as wel as discreet hints of zan, cardamom and a very discreet hint of tonka bean. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length. There are hints of cocoa, varietals as well as a discreet bitterness on the finish.
