The nose is fruity and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of cherry, wild raspberry and small notes of juicy cassis associated with fine touches of cornflower, liquorice stick as well as discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a good definition, juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, crunchiness, a fine tension as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy red cherry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of juicy cassis associated with fine touches of juicy plum as well as discreet hints of liquorice stick. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of cocoa bean on the persistence. An easy-drinking wine.
