The nose is fruity, gourmand, aromatic, well-defined, precise and offers concentration as well as a small richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of violet plum, primrose associated with fine touches of rose, wild strawberry as well as hints of Sichuan pepper and incense. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, well-balanced, beautifully racy, a fine concentration as well as fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of juicy/acidulous red berries associated with touches of juicy plum as well as discreet hints of mocha/tonka bean, violet/lily and spices.
