The nose is racy, well-built and offers elegance, a fine richness as well as a fine complexity. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of cherry, wild blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of plum, camphor, zan, toasted as well as discreet hints of spices, chocolate, a very discreet hint of clover and Cuben pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, fresh, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juicy frame/finely acidulous, a beautiful definition, suavity, roundness, finesse, straightness, structure, a beautiful maturity of the fruit as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry, Quetsche plum and small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of raspberry, cherry, fine hints of cornflower, toasted, chocolate, cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom and tea. Tannins are elegant.
