The nose is aromatic, finely tight and offers a small concentration as well as a fine power. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, violet and more slightly Sichuan pepper associated with touches of red fruits (cherry, raspberry) as well as fine hints of spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers suavity, a very fine tension, a fine acidulous frame, juiciness as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy/juicy blackberry and more slightly fleshy/juicy red berries associated with a touch of cherry as well as hints of violet/cornflower, liquorice as well as discreet hints of toasted, a very discreet hint of coffee (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
