The nose is finely tight, structured, racy, marked by Cabernet Sauvignon and offers a fine concentration. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of ripe/crunchy cassis, red berries and more slightly blackberry associated with hints of toasted, crunchy/fresh cherry, chocolate as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, structured and offers freshness, tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy cherry and more slightly juicy/fleshy red berries associated with a hint of blackberry as well as fine hints of flowers, racy minerality and a discreet hint of tonka bean/liquorice stick. There is a hint of cassis bud on the finish. Tannins are well-built and structuring.
