The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration as well as a fine crunchiness. It reveals notes of cassis, violet and more slightly Sichuan pepper associated with touches of crunchy red fruits, spices as well as fine hints of toasted oak/vanilla. The palate is well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a fine acidulous frame, tension, a fine flesh, a fine freshness as well as a fine gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy cherry and more slightly fleshy/juicy cassis associated with fine touches of crunchy small red berries as well as discreet hints of liquorice. Tannins are well-built
