The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and more slightly wild strawberry associated with touches of ripe cherry, violet as well as fine hints of liquorice and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced, silky, well-built and offers a good finesse of the grain, gourmandize, a good definition as well as a fine juicy/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe raspberry, ripe wild strawberry and more slightly fleshy/juicy cassis associated with fine hints of chocolate, caramelized oak and a hint of zan. Tannins are well-built.
