The nose is fruity, crunchy and offers a fine power (in the background). It reveals notes of ripe wild berries, Quetsche plum and small notes of crunchy/ripe wild raspberry, crunchy/ripe red berries associated with hints of liquorice stick, tea as well as very discreet hints of cardamom, chocolate and a very discreet hint of local underground / dry local forest soil (sense of the place). The palate is juicy, well-balanced and offers fleshiness, a good definition, a beautiful minerality, a beautiful freshness, juiciness, precision as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, black berries and small notes of fleshy/ripe wild red berries associated with hints of flowers (rose, violet, pink lilac) as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, vanilla and chocolate/tonka bean. Tannins are elegant, structuring and slightly dry. A very fine chew and slight hints of ripe almond on the persistence.
