The nose is fruity, gourmand, well-built and offers a fine richness, elegance as well as a small freshness. It reveals notes of bigarreau cherry, fresh violet plum and small notes of fleshy/fresh red berries associated with touches of fresh raspberry, a touch of cornflower as well as hints of graphite, toasted, vanilla and a very discreet hint of nutmeg (in the background). The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, elegant, racy and offers a good definition, a beautiful mineral frame, juiciness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh raspberry, ripe/fresh red berries and small notes of plum associated with touches of small blue fruits, liquorice/zan as well as fine hints of almond. Tannins are well-built and very slightly tight. There are fine hints of tonka bean, coffee and nutmeg on the finish.
