The nose is fruity, relatively aromatic, finely tight and racy. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild raspberry, violet plum and small notes of wild blackberry associated with fine touches of lilac, rose, touches of tonka bean, toasted, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of dried ground of local forest and hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good mineral frame, a ripe but juicy fruit, gourmandize, suavity as well as a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy strawberry and small notes of juicy cherry associated with a touch of plum/cassis as well as fine hints of liquorice, toasted and almond. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of caramelization on the finish/persistence.
