The nose is fruity and offers a small richness, a fine intensity as well as finesse. It reveals notes of black plum, black cherry and small notes of blueberry associated with very discreet hints of cornflower, rosewood, liquorice stick and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper/copse (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, structured and offers a beautiful definition, elegance, a beautiful precision, an acidulous frame as well as a small richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, plum and small notes of crushed cassis associated with fine touches of liquorice stick and toasted/chocolate. There are hints of toasted almond on the finish.
