The nose is aromatic and offers power. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry and more lightly white pepper associated with touches of flowers (violet, cornflower), fleshy/ripe cherry as well as a touch fo black plum, hints of spices and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-built, well-balanced and offers minerality, suavity, precision, straightness, a fine acidulous frame, tension as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy/juicy raspberry, juicy red berries and small notes of juicy cherry associated with small touches of liquorice, zan, tonka bean as well as a very discreet hint of copse and vanilla. Tannins are well-built.
