Anthony Girard – La Clef du Récit 2017 – Sancerre

The nose is fruity, fresh, mineral and racy. It reveals notes of ripe lemon and juicy/fresh flat peach associated with touches of fresh/juicy mandarine as well as fine hints of racy minerality and fresh pineapple. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, a beautiful juiciness, a mineral frame, roundness as well as a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh lemon, juicy/fresh mandarine and small notes of peach associated with small touches of crunchy/juicy pineapple, racy minerality as well as a very discreet hint of green apple. Good length and good persistence.
