The nose is aromatic, powerful, elegant and offers a small freshness as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of caramelization, jam, dried citrus and small notes of candied strawberry associated with small touches of rancio, tobacco, gray pepper as well as hints of almond/dried hazelnut, cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a good definition, a fine acidulous frame, a fine freshness as well as a beautiful gourmandize. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of caramelized orange, caramelized mandarin and small notes of dried fruits, caramel, pâtisseries associated with touches of cedar, a hint of citron, candied fruits cake as well as a very discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla and caramelization. Good length. There are small hints of dried fruits (almond, hazelnut, fresh walnut) on the persistence. Power on the finish.
