S. Leonardo – 30 anos – Tawny Port

The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of candied orange, dried citrus and small notes of caramelization associated with fine touches of rancio, candied raspberry as well as fine hints of pepper, flowers, toasted, cigar and a very discreet hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity, mineral, tense, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a small suavity as well as a small acidulous frame. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of zante currant , dried violet plum/prune and small notes of candied orange associated with hints of hazelnut and walnut. Good length. Power on the finish/persistence. Beautiful persistence on hints of dried fruits and praline.
