Dalva – 30 Years Old Tawny Port

The nose is elegant, gourmand and offers richness, a beautiful definition as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of zante currant, caramelization, candied strawberry and small notes of dried plum associated with fine hints of rancio, tobacco, clove and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good definition, gourmandize, roundness, a fine unctuosity, a very beautiful finesse of the grain, elegance, straightness as well as fleshiness. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of candied strawberry, zante currant and small notes of fleshy violet plum associated with fine touches of caramelization, praline, tobacco and a very discreet hint of walnut and dried almond on the finish. A beautiful Porto!
