The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of blackberry and flowers (violet, lily) associated with touches of cassis as well as subtle hints of ripe/juicy red fruits and fine/discreet hints of toasted oak. The palate is fruity, precise/clean, full and offers freshness, juiciness as well as good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy wild strawberry and more slightly juicy red berries associated with a hint of cassis, flowers/lily as well as subtle/discreet touches of liquorice and cassis bud. Tannins are slightly tight. A wine made in a style “more accessible” than the Château vintage.
