The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers an acid frame as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy cassis, crunchy redcurrant and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of toasted oak, cardamom as well as subtle/discreet touches of spices, tonka bean and discreet hints of sugared tobacco. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
